An Apartment in Chelsea Harbour

The Vision

The natural light and stunning views were the obvious inspiration for Simon’s design. By removing a wall, he beamed in more light from the wrap-around windows overlooking Chelsea Harbour and moved the kitchen area into the hub of the apartment.

“Creating the island as the centrepiece of the new open plan living space was essential. By making it sail shaped with reverse tapered legs and an etched glass curved bar, it not only evokes the riverside theme of the apartment but also adds a welcoming warmth to encourage interaction.”

The high and low level cabinets are gently curved to help achieve a soft and luxurious feel. The bespoke opaque glass panels have been sand blasted with a brick red horizontal rectangle to show that a functional splash back can be beautifully designed to compliment a glamorous and opulent interior.
