‘His’ kitchen incorporates a teppan unit, sink, small fridge, wine fridge and coffee machine, making it totally self-contained. The extraction system is cleverly hidden within the lighting feature so that guests at the glass etched bar have uninterrupted views of the chef and TV. The plasma screen and integrated music system make it a kitchen ready to party.

‘Her’ kitchen has a high bank of storage units with integrated fridge and freezer, two stainless steel ovens and innovative pullout storage racks. Utilising Simon’s signature design philosophy of connected freestanding, smaller cabinets extend from this area with an integrated waste bin, dishwasher, sink and soft close storage units, ending in a sweeping curve that houses the gas hob with wok burner.

The unique ‘His ‘n’ Her’ design gave Simon his second nomination in 2005 as a finalist in the BIDA/idFX Kitchen Designer of the Year.
